St KONONAS GARDENS This is a new apartment with communal pool and garage space. LOCATION The apartment is in a small complex in the quiet village of Kissonerga, near the popular town of Paphos. The village has a supermarket, chemist, bookshop and a variety of restaurants all within walking distance of the apartment. There is a bus service through the village connecting it to Paphos but to get the best from a holiday on the island, a car is desirable and this can be booked at the same time as booking the apartment. A British driving licence is sufficient. Flights can also be booked. The area is steeped in history, and the Tombs of the Kings, Aphrodite's Birthplace and the mosaics of Dyonisis are all close by. A little further afield are the ruins of Kurion, Kolossi Castle, The Akamas Penninsular and The Troodos Mountains. For swimming and water sports, it is a ten minute drive to Paphos beach or Coral Bay, where there are also a number of restaurants and clubs that stay open until the last person has left. There is also a stables near Kissonerga. ACCOMMODATION The apartment sleeps four persons in two bedrooms. All linen and towels are supplied. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge freezer, washing machine, electric cooker, toaster and microwave, plus a full range of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils to cater for six persons. The lounge and dining area are open plan and a television, DVD player and mini Hi Fi are provided. There are two balconies; a smaller one at the rear overlooking the pool area and the larger one at the front where you can sunbathe or enjoy your meals out of doors. A table and chairs are provided plus sun loungers for the pool area. Air conditioning, ceiling fans and heating (for winter months) are included in the price.
