May 2008 |
The Road-Railer comes in its own here moving a new container for 4150 firstly by road...
...to its new position near the engine. The Fruit D will now be
emptied so that it too can be repaired.
...work on 4150 has been quietly progressing with brake rigging largely complete, valve gear re-assembled and both crossheads fitted. |
|
...then by rail, under 4150's canopy...
4150 and Fruit D shunted out to make way for the container...
7960 was also shunted out of the yard. Regretfully owner and GW(SVR)A stalwart, Phil James, has been taken ill. Best wishes, Phil, for a speedy recovery.
