The new shed being built for the 08 Diesel Group in the same style the Swindon shed. So much better looking than those Portastores! Photo: Colin Jenkins |

6045
Following a period of high wind the canvas blew off 6045. This was the first time it had seen the light of day in 25 years. It has now been covered over with a new canvas. February 2005. Photo: Colin Jenkins
650
Usually stored inside the shed, 650 was shunted outside for a period. Out in the daylight it easier to see the frame and panel repairs, mostly carried out while the coach was stored at the Sugar Beet Factory, Foley Park. February 2005. Photo: Colin Jenkins |

Tin Shed
A new tin shed has been erected outside the Carriage Shed. This was liberated from outside Swindon A Shop back in 1986. It was used as a rope store until the Association got hold of it on a 'raid'. It has now been re-erected outside the carriage shed at Kidder for use as a store/workshop for the maintenance boys thus saving them a half mile walk when they find they have left a critical spanner behind! 1087
Awaiting overhaul 1087 rests inside the carriage shed. April 2004.
